Replacing the spindle belt
Important notes:
- Since the belt between the spindle motor and the spindle is a timing belt, it is not necessary to tension the belt.The teeth on the belt will prevent slipping and hence loss of rpms.
- The advantage of a non tensioned belt is also that the spindle motor bearings are not put under sideways pressure.
