Important notes:

1. Ordered List Item* Since the belt between the spindle motor and the spindle is a timing belt, it is not necessary to tension the belt.
   

The teeth on the belt will prevent slipping and hence loss of rpms.

• Unordered List Item* The advantage of a non tensioned belt is also that the spindle motor bearings are not put under sideways pressure.
