If you want to engrave without nosecone, e.g. when cutting a 3d relief, the spring pressure ring has to be locked. To lock the spring pressure ring, it has to be screwed down completely.

| Note: Be extremely careful never to use the nosecone on your spindle when the spring pressure lockring is down. You may harm your Z-axis motor, the Z-axis leadscrew and even the controller. In other words, always respect the following principle: Never launch an engraving cycle with both the nosecone on the spindle and the spring pressure lock ring screwed down. |

Wanneer zonder neusconus en met een geblokkeerd vlottend mechanisme gewerkt wordt, zal de machine de dieptes uitvoeren die in de graveerjob zitten, op voorwaarde dat in het Job dialog venster (zie hierboven) de “Z move values” in gesteld werd op “From Job File”. Of je graveerjob dieptes bevat hangt uitsluitend af van de gebruikte software. Sommige programma’s gebruiken Z-omlaag en Z-omhoog waardes, andere programma’s gebruiken alleen “omlaag” en een “omhoog” instructie, zonder opgave van een waarde. In dit laatste geval moet in dit dialog venster de “Z Move Values” ingesteld worden op “From Pendent setting”. De graveermachine zal dan een voorgeprogrammeerde diepte gebruiken, die ook ingegeven of gewijzigd kan worden via het “Job dialoog venster” in het virtuele toetsenbord.
