Move to XYZ-coordinate

The MOVE command allows you to enter exact values for X, Y, or Z (0,0,0) where the first entry is X, the second entry is Y, and the third entry is Z. The X, Y, and Z values will reference from the machine’s Hard Home position until the SET HOME and SET SURFACE commands have been selected. At that point the X and Y axis will reference from the Set Home position. The Z value will reference from the surface of the material.

To Move To A Specific Location.

Press the MOVE hot key.
Enter the desired value for X from the number pad (50.0 for example).

Press ENTER to accept the value.

Enter the desired value for Y from the number pad (-50.0 for example). Press ENTER to accept the value.

Enter the desired value for Z from the number pad (5.0 for example). Press ENTER to accept the value.

When the coordinates have been entered, click on the Move button.

When pushing the Move button the machine will move to the new coordinates. If for some reason you do not want to move to the entered coordinates, hit the Cancel key.

After the move you will see the new coordinates in the top part of the pendent window:

Note:

When the X, Y, or Z value comes up it will be in the current location of that axis. If the current location is required select MOVE and Press ENTER three times. This will display the current location. To keep an axis from moving Press ENTER when the axis value comes up.

Return to the keypad overview.
Continue to the table of contents.
