greasing the leadscrews
Important notes:
The X-axis and the Z-axis leadscrews are easily accessible, applying some grease is easily done there.
Before putting grease on the leadscrews, make sure they are absolutely clean. Use a soft dry cloth to clean them.
The Y-axis leadscrew sits under the engraving table and under a metal cover, both of which will have to be removed to get acces to them.

 | Remove the 4 screws which are indicated with a green arrow on the image on the left. |
 | Remove 4 more screws which are indicated with a green arrow on the image on the left.
You can lift up the engraving table and put it on the side. |
 | Remove the 2 screws which are indicated with a green arrow on the picture on the left. |
 | Remove 2 more screws which are indicated with a green arrow on the image on the left.
You can lift up the leadscrew cover and put it on the side. |
 | After having taken away the leadscrew cover you have access to the Y-axis leadscrew.
Apply some grease to the leadscrew, just behind the leadscrew nut. |
 | Gently rotate the black knob on the back side of the X-axis stepper motor till the flat side of the cutter is well aligned with the left table stop. |
 | Now check if the finely engraved line on this knob corresponds with the engraved line on the indicator plate.
If that is not the case, loosen the black knob and rotate it to properly align it with the engraved indicator plate. |
| | Re-tighthen this knob. |
| | Screw the depth regulator nose back onto the spindle. |
