You can lift up the engraving table and put it on the side. |
 | Remove the 2 screws which are indicated with a green arrow on the picture on the left. |
 | Remove 2 more screws which are indicated with a green arrow on the image on the left.
You can lift up the leadscrew cover and put it on the side. |
 | After having taken away the leadscrew cover you have access to the Y-axis leadscrew.
Clean the area which is normally covered by the engraving table and the leadscrew cover.
Do so using a vacuum cleaner, do not use compressed air.
Apply some grease to the leadscrew, just behind the leadscrew nut.
After having applied some grease you can re-assemble the leadscrew cover and the engraving table. |
 | The X-axis leadscrew is easily accessible.
clean the leadscrew with a soft dry cloth.
Then apply some grease on it. |
 | The Z-axis leadscrew is also easily accessible.
using the Z-axis jog keys move the spindle down and the Z leadscrew will become visible.
Apply some grease and move the spindle up again. |
