===== 3.4.2.2. Entering engraving depths in Symmetry and using those while engraving =====

In Symmetry it is possible to enter the desired engraving depths. This happens in the following window (menu "Options - Pass Depths").\\
The numbers in the different fields function as an example:\\
When engraving the job the cutter will first perform a roughing pass at 0.4 mm depth, and after that a cleaning pas at 0.5 mm depth.

__There is one important condition:__\\
The Cyborg pendent software has to be set in such a way that the machine reads and executes the depths in the cnc-file.\\
In the CNC-field "Z-move values" the option "From Job File" has to be active. (see image below)
