===== greasing the leadscrews =====

**__Important notes:__ **

  - The X-axis and the Z-axis leadscrews are easily accessible, applying some grease is easily done there.
  - Before putting grease on the leadscrews, make sure they are absolutely clean. Use a soft dry cloth to clean them.
  - The Y-axis leadscrew sits under the engraving table and under a metal cover, both of which will have to be removed to get acces to them.\\

|{{  :en:x200:dsc03898.jpg?500  |{afbeelding}}|After having taken away the leadscrew cover you have access to the Y-axis leadscrew.\\ Clean the area which is normally covered by the engraving table and the leadscrew cover.\\ Do so using a vacuum cleaner, do not use compressed air.\\ Apply some grease to the leadscrew, just behind the leadscrew nut.\\ After having applied some grease you can re-assemble the leadscrew cover and the engraving table.|
